Mike has over 15 years’ experience in Marketing, Public Relations & Administration, coupled with over a decade of Human Rights involvement. From Fortune 100 companies (Texas Instruments, Paramount Pictures) to small start-ups to top international celebrities, Mike has specialized in turning ideas into actualities.
Combining his passion for sports, human rights andadventure, Mike was one of six runners in the 1999 European Human Rights Marathon, running from Greece to Germany and covering over 3,000 miles in three months. He later captained other Human Rights Marathons in the US and Western Europe, including cycling from Russia to Paris in 2002.
His volunteer efforts have taken him all over the world, including one month in Sri Lanka in 2005 to help out the Tsunami survivors and investigate human rights violations, particularly against orphans.
As the Foundation Executive Director, Mike’s goal is to wake up a nation’s citizens to recognize, combat and eradicate human rights violations within the legal structure of that country, using the influence of artists and celebrities to get the message across.
